Paper II is a longer research paper of 1750-2500 words. Topics for the research paper are of your own choosing. A brief written prospectus of no more than 250 words will be due on Tuesday,

March 25. The prospectus should identify the topic and be accompanied by an annotated bibliography of three appropriate scholarly items. Students who would like could submit the first 500-

750 words of their paper on Tuesday, April 8. I will be able to offer suggestions for improvement. The final version of the research paper is due at noon on Monday, April 28. The paper must

contain an annotated bibliography of seven appropriate scholarly items. Hard copies of the papers are to be submitted, electronic attachments will not be considered as a submission. Please
