Measure the blood pressure of a very tall student

1. A very short physiology student is asked to measure the blood pressure of a very tall student. She decides to measure the blood pressure at the level of the tall student’s foot while he is standing (NOTE: she is not measuring blood pressure on his foot). After taking the blood pressure, she decides that the tall student is suffering from hypertension because the systolic pressure is 200 mmHg.
a) What artery does she use? (Select one artery only)
b) The conventional way to measure blood pressure is to measure the direct pressure of what artery in the arm?

c) Is her diagnosis correct? Why or why not? Defend your answer.
