analyze the short story “Rothko Eggs,” by Keith Ridgway from the PEN/O.
Henry Prize Stories 2012. Use your knowledge of ekphrastic writing to
discuss how the visual medium contributes to your interpreation of the
short story. bring the experience of an object to a listener or reader
through detailed descriptive writing. while your personal response to
the “text” is important, readers should come away from your essay
feeling as though they learned something about the text you analyzed.
style:
Clear, readable prose and sentence structures with an academic tone.
Proper use of grammar, diction, and citation style
Structure:
A definable in troduction with thesis, a body and a conclusion.
Fully developed body paragraphs, each including a point, illustration,
and explanation(PIE)
Use 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins.
