Overview

This assignment will help you research a domestic and and foreign policy more deeply. You will need to choose both a domestic policy issue and a foreign policy to summarize and research (two issues total: one domestic, one foreign).

Domestic Policy Summary

Choose one of the following sections from Chapter 17 of the Greenberg-Page text:

Safety Net Programs

Social Insurance

Means-Tested Programs

Subsidized Health Insurance

Determine your position on the issue. Find at least 1 article about your topic.

Create a 250-400 word summary of your issue using your articles to support your position. Make certain to include citations at the end of your summary.

Foreign Policy Summary

Choose one of the security or economic & social issues as from the Greenberg-Page text from the Problems of the Post-Cold War World section of Chapter 18.

Determine your position on the issue. Find at least 1 article about your topic.

Create a 250-400 word summary of your issue using your articles to support your position. Make certain to include Chicago citations at the end of your summary.
