Data informed decision making (elementary and secondary level)

Data informed decision making (elementary and secondary level)

make instructional and behavioral decisions at the classroom level based upon either formative or summative data, standardized or informal data, and state assessment or informal teacher assessment.

You will review the data available from your school to make decisions regarding the classroom level to determine whether changes need to be made in instruction or personnel.

Then, you will draft a snapshot report (one-page profile report) to parents and the community, informing them of the results for each classroom (with the help of a graph or some other model that will be easy to explain) and whether any instructional or personnel changes will be made.

Be sure to do the following in this assignment:

Determine the message you want to convey about your data analysis results.
Present the data as simply and clearly as possible to convey the message.
Compare the data to the national, state, and other similar schools.
Be sure to have graphs with clear titles, legends, and numbers to convey the message.
Provide a narrative interpretation of the graphs.
Include a section that outlines the role of parents and the community in gathering and analyzing the data and involving constituents in the process so that everyone is a stakeholder.
Write a 4€“5-page report in Word format. Apply APA standards to citation of sources.
