· Walters dreams are over the top!
· Walter wants: BIG HOUSE, IN CHARGE, GIVE THE FAMILY WHATEVER THEY WANT (in excess.. demonstrated by giving his son 50c for the project & $$ for cab when they don’t have it¦ giving his wife pearls¦)
· Hard work is out of the question for walter b/c he believes he can make money fast. WHY? b/c he has no education and is black.

· If walter was to follow the American dream how it was technically supposed to behe would NEVER make it. He doesn’t have education. The ONLY way he could make it is to get money fast- not through proper channels.
