instructions :
In this third section of the class we have been studying the latest NCLA of the 1970s and 1980s period described as neo-baroque . We have also been introduced to the contemporary period of Latin American cinema , which has been highlighted by a tendency neorealist but this time a neorealism the purpose not tell grand narratives as in the period of militant NCLA , but rather small stories influenced by social realities around them (Paul Schroeder -RodrÃguez , p . 108 ) . Another trend in the contemporary period has been to recovery global industrial formulas as old comedy, film path , and the film gangster to project new audiovisual stories on Latin American regions.
This section of the class we have also taken the opportunity to reflect on throughout the course , and locate the films of the contemporary period in its heritage NCLA of the 1950s-1980s . As this is the last test , I would like the opportunity to deepen these comparative connections in a written essay. With this goal in mind, choose A comparative question to answer in a written test machine at least THREE DOUBLE SPACE pages . Be sure to use precise details of the two films in question to focus your analysis. Using reading Pick your arguments to support ( in the case of films neobaroque ) is advisable.
Like last time , you can use : the films themselves , class books , class notes , my presentations , and a dictionary. It is not necessary (or even recommended), but if you decide to pursue other sources (such as books or scholarly articles or press reviews ) must use the MLA , APA, or Chicago Style apropriadamente to cite these sources .
