Choose a recent news article (published within the past year) about women that you believe would prove useful in a discussion in a women’s studies course.

Using the material in your course readings and the course modules for support (use quotes!), make explicit connections between your article and women’s studies. Be sure to cite your sources.

Important: You must choose a news article. Look for a byline (author) and date of publication. If there is no author or publication date, the article you have found is not a news article. Not sure if you’ve found a news article? Contact me and ask!

Essay length is 1,500 words (5 pages). Use one outside source (the news article), but base your essay primarily on the course materials.
