It’s my professor said:  Again, it will be important to focus on a particular period or use of photography in order to make your project manageable in just a few weeks.  I’d suggest choosing either exploration, propaganda, or a particular region and period. Please update your post when you’ve arrived at this point of focus.  Also, this would be an important book for you:  Roberts, Claire. Photography and China. Exposures. London: Reaktion Books, 2013

You can use 3 or 4 of them to be as the references. I mean These books may hard to find out.

If you can find all of them, I am happy, but I think you just need to look 3 or 4 of them.

And the rest of the references, you must look the traditional sources, like books and journal articles? but at least one from Online resource.
