Select one argument from a television, online or radio talk show.

Select one argument from a television, online or radio talk show.

Don’t rule out popular talk shows or talk shows in Spanish. Analyze the argument, mentioning as completely as you can the major claim, the most important evidence, and the declared or hidden warrant. Identify the parts of the argument (the claim, the support, and the warrant). Don’t just summarize the argument! You don’t need to take a stand on the issue – Remember you are analyzing the parts of the argument. In your analysis, you should be able to point to the one major claim in the argument. Comment on how effective you think the support is.

If you select an argument from television, consider how much the oral and visual format contributed to the success or failure of the argument.

Sport Sponsorship Proposal

In this assignment, you will be responsible for identifying one potential sponsor in your target market and developing an introductory sponsorship proposal to be presented to that organization. The proposal will detail what the sponsor will receive along with activation for each element of the sponsorship. It is acceptable to reference existing sponsorship proposals in your paper. However, you must provide a citation for every source used. You are not allowed to copy and paste a sponsorship proposal from another organization. Any idea that is not your own will need to be referenced. Overall, you will be required to provide justification for each facet of the sponsorship campaign.

In particular, you will be required to:
– Identify the purpose for your team pursuing the sponsorship.
– Identify why you identified the organization as a potential sponsor by:
? Identifying what the sponsor can offer the team. Use information from Ch. 7 here.
? Gather information on the potential sponsoring organization (its mission, patrons, scope, products/services, etc.) and offer an explanation why they would be the best fit for this proposal.
? Identifying what the team can offer the sponsor. Use information from Ch. 7.
? Explain how there is a relevant fit between the sponsor’s objectives and what they would receive if they agreed to the proposal.

– Describe what promotional elements would be included with the sponsorship (in-arena/out-of-arena, in-season/out-of-season).

– Describe a themed tie-in for the partnership between your franchise and your sponsor.

– Offer a detailed description of how the sponsorship will be activated and evaluated.

– Offer a closing paragraph asking the organization for the sponsorship deal.
You should write the proposal as a memo that the leadership of the potential sponsoring organization would read.

You are allowed to use bullet points and insert pictures/figures if needed. However, your proposal should still have parts typed in narrative form to thoroughly explain what you propose to the potential sponsor. In other words, you should not use such things as pictures to fill space and still have ambiguity remaining in your proposal. Submissions will range from 4 to 6 pages (not including references page if needed) to provide a comprehensive sponsorship proposal. Times New Roman, 12-point font will be used with 1-inch margins. On the first page of the memo, you will include your contact information (create this), team logo, and the words “Sponsorship Proposal” for the subject
