ESSAY QUESTION:
“Describe and critically analyse the qualities of a residential area in Sydney in terms of residential development planning principles for streetscape and neighbourhood character?.

These principles are contained in the section ?Streetscape and Neighbourhood Character? (pp. 244 ? 266) in AMCORD ? A National Resource Document for Residential Development. Students may refer to and integrate the concepts of the compact city/sustainable urbanism, healthy planning and culturised planning principles within the scope of their essay. Images and diagrams may be used to illustrate good and bad points and should be clearly labelled.
