My NASA Mission
NASA adopted a plan called “Faster, Better, Cheaper” in the 1990’s due to budget cuts. It began funding smaller proposals and reduced its funding for large scale proposals. Now, the missions cost about the same to send as it does to make a large-budget movie!
Outline your own proposal of a mission to a planet or other moon in our solar system and explain:
1.What is your mission?
2.What makes it important to be the one that gets funded?
3.What type of craft(s) are you going to send? (Orbiter, lander, or rover)
4.What instruments would you be including on your craft?
