1. Definition of Critical Thinking based on a synthesis from at least 2 sources, paraphrase in student’s own words.

2. Identifies and describes characteristics and/or behaviors in all critical thinkers (Minimum of 6 must be present to receive points)

3. Explain why each characteristic and or behavior is important in Nursing

4. Describe how you as a nursing student, utilizes critical thinking in the classroom and clinical area

4. Identify at least three areas in which you need to improve your critical thinking and describe a personal plan to improve in thos areas.

5.Writing quality(use of complete sentences, sentences structure, punctuation, grammar, etc). Depth of understanding

7. Minimum of 3 credible U.S. based sources

8. At least 2 sources must be evidenced based Nursing Journal articles.

8. All sources are less than 5 years old.

9. Include copy of sources from Nursing Journals for instructors copy.
