Evaluative Analysis Paper
Evaluative arguments are made every day. Think of your family disagreements over sports teams, political figures, technology. These arguments can be form or informal, but all have a goal to prove why one thing, person, perspective is better, more effective, the best, etc over another.
Please note the above is just the beginning. The thesis must do more than state the facts, otherwise it is useless. Evaluations like all argumentative writing, must establish a clear thesis that is supported with an understanding of why this argument exists and how it is to be proven. Before attempting to write the paper please review Chapter 10 and “Guide to Writing an Evaluation”.
