PREPARING
Scenario: You have decided to put together an orientation for a group of employees opening up an office in another country. You want to ensure the success of the team and have decided to develop an orientation covering the cultural differences they will have to adapt to. You Regional manager and Human Resource director has asked you to put together a 5 minute speech on the overview of the cultural orientation. Such topics you might cover; business practices, nonverbals, custom practices, traditions or anything you feel is important for them to conduct business in this country and ensure success. Pick a country other than UAE or your own home country.

What you will produce:
1) They have asked you to speak for 5 minutes speech
2) Present a powerpoint; including illustrations such as charts, pictures, etc
3) Create a handout to provide to the participants
You can focus on the following: written communication, nonverbals, customs, traditions and management practices.
Goal: Teach them the cultural impacts and how managers can adapt communication strategies
