Details:Using the book World Literature Anthology, 1st Edition For this week’s DQ, you will want to review the lecture notes under “Week 2? for relevant discussions of Plato and Aristotle. For Augustine, see the excerpt from “On Lying” in the Book. Be sure to write at least 5-6 sentences for each of the three sections identified in the general directions. I will be looking for developed responses for each that include some thoughts for the questions posed as well as at least one quote from the relevant work for each of the three components. Be sure to include properly formatted MLA documentation. Please answer all of the following in your response: Part I: Do you agree with Plato that having your emotions stirred on behalf of a character in a story undermines your ability to control your own emotions? Why or why not? Part II: What is “catharsis of emotions”? Do you agree with Aristotle that it can be obtained by experiencing dramatic fiction? Part III: Is imaginative storytelling, with all its conflations, combinations, and exaggerations, a form of lying? What would Augustine think, based on your close reading of his text?
