Introduction Over the years, much of the health care services have been controlled by the key players including the health care facilities and the insurance companies. As such, most of the patients have found themselves in a tight spot as they try keeping up and at the same time getting the best health care services that they can afford. However, the platform has changed with advocacy of health care services that are centered towards the patients to enhance their satisfaction. Definitions Patient Centered Care relates to the aspects of providing health care services with reference to the individual patients and their preferences (Epstein & Street, 2011).
