Ways to Get Community Involvement in Community Policing Efforts to Reduce Crime and Increase the Quality of Life
Scenario:
This paper discusses the strategies to increase community engagement in community policing endeavors to reduce crime and improve the standards of living. The central focus of the paper is on highlighting youth problems and potential solutions. The part that needs to written about will be 4) Displacement/Diffusion as it relates to strategies to increase community engagement in community policing efforts to reduce crime while improving the standards of living.
This is a group project however I am responsible for displacement/diffusion.
The paper will discuss the problem, the steps used to resolve the problem, and what you learned from the project.
The paper must be in APA format
1) The SARA Model and how we can use this in our agency to help combat our scenario
2) Specialty areas within the agency such as developing (explorer programs, civil police academies, etc…)
3) Police strategies for combating crime (such as COP/POP, specific to our scenario)
4) Displacement/Diffusion
