21st Century Skills in Education

We’ve heard much about 21st century skills; in fact, Rotherham & Willingham in Educational Leadership (September 2009) stated “To work, the 21st century skills movement will require keen attention to curriculum, teacher quality, and assessment.” Although these skills are certainly not new to education, this movement is still alive in 2015. ATTACH a 3-4 page reaction paper (do NOT use the text box in this tool) responding to the following questions: What are “21st century skills” and which skills do you consider necessary in our school districts? How does one become a 21st century school district? What is the role of school leaders in 21st century education?
