The final section of the assignment will focus on advocacy efforts in the selected policy area. You may wish to contact someone at the advocacy organization you chose and speak with them on the phone. The section of the paper should address the following issues:
• Identify an advocacy organization that is currently working to change policy in this area
• What type and level of policy and program change are they seeking?
• How does this group define the problem? Is it consistent with the definition(s) that you have used above?
• What are the major means/strategies that this group is employing to pursue its goals?
• What problems/successes/failures have they faced and why?
