Managing Specific Medical Emergencies in Primary Care
Paper details:

Create an age appropriate, evidence based plan of care for a client that might present to a primary care setting with Burns/Chemical Exposure for an infant less than 1 year of age.
Be sure that you:

•Discuss the importance of being proficient in managing medical emergencies in a primary care setting
•Discuss how an evidence based plan of care is beneficial in an emergency situation
•Discuss appropriate subjective and objective information that you may find in this emergency
•Develop appropriate differential diagnoses, choose correct diagnostic exams, and develop an evidence based management plan for this patient.

Remember when creating a plan that this is an emergency situation so base your plan accordingly

Managing Specific Medical Emergencies in Primary Care
Address Burns/Chemical Exposure for an infant less than 1 year of age
*Please note this paper is about medical emergencies that can present in the primary care setting, for example a doctor’s office or a clinic, NOT in an emergency room or hospital. Therefore not all medical equipment may be available, however what must be discussed is what can be done in the primary care setting given the situation of a Burns/Chemical Exposure for an infant less than 1 year of age.
