Identify and Describe the Company you have decided to use for the Assignment.

The chosen company is Monster Beverage Company. Hansen Hubert founded the company in 2002. It is an American beverage company that manufactures energy drinks such as Monster energy. It is one of the companies considered "worst companies" (McGrath 2018). Despite its popularity, the company suffered a negative reputation in 2018, when five women accused the company of abusive and discriminative culture. The manager, by then Phillip Deitrich, was accused of humiliating women. John Kenneally was also accused of bullying and sexual harassment, which led him to be forced out of the company.

Why is it considered the worst company?

Monster Beverage company is considered one of the worst companies for the following reasons: the beverage has so many brands, each containing an unknown quantity of flavors. In contrast, some flavors contain high grams of sugar per can and higher caffeine content harmful to human health (can lead to heart diseases such as rapid heart rate and increased blood pressure). The brand is commonly mixed with alcohol, especially the young adults, which lead to uncultured behaviors among the youth.

Explain your rationale for Selecting the Company to Evaluate, Applying the six Environments

The six business environments are economic forces, political and regulatory forces, sociocultural, environment and legal factors, and technology. The sociocultural environment deals with the culture and norms of the company's customers and maintains a solid relationship with its employees. The company has countless benefits to its employees. Despite the advantages, it also has weaknesses in its cultural environment. It has not successfully integrated smaller companies and has also failed to merge firms with different work cultures. The company also considers the legal factors to ensure employees are selected and trained. The company invests vast amounts of money for facilitating and developing employees, thus resulting in a highly skilled and motivated labor force. Monster Beverage Corporation has made a step-in technology in that its activities are automated, thus bringing about the consistency of quality products. Under the political environment, the company is better off because it can enter a new emerging market propelled by Government agreement. Therefore, Monster Beverage Corporation, with its "worst" issues, is an excellent choice to satisfy six environments for the study.

Conclusion

In conclusion, companies should align with all the requirements of engaging in healthy practices to avoid a negative reputation. Once a company's image has been distorted, the company is likely to undergo a considerable loss and reduce the number of customers. The company will also have to undergo new advertisement and marketing, which are expensive. Getting back to the old self will also be challenging.
