October 1, 2020Okay so this is the thesis i wrote – While allowing students to take mental health days can be extremely helpful, many politicians think this will provide students an excuse to miss school, schools should give students the access to take a day off to better their mental health. This is because symptoms of anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts have spiked in teenagers over the last decade, by allowing students to take mental health days this could lower the high school dropout rate.
