Looking back at all of the historical eras and at each of the places we have covered in this class, is world history from 1700 to the present a story of European power and influence? To put it plainly, is it Eurocentric?

Be sure to:
Dedicate one section to each of the following places: Africa, the Americas, Europe, and Asia
Within each section, write a minimum of three paragraphswith each addressing how the societies within the continent contributed to a particular era. (i.e. Paragraph 1: Africa during the Atlantic Slave Trade; Paragraph 2: Africa during Imperialism; Paragraph 3: Africa during Decolonization). ***Note: you may choose the eras you think are most relevant, but be sure you make clear why you chose a particular era.
In a concluding section, argue whether or not world history since 1700 is Eurocentric. Be sure to consider both “yes” and “no” answers. Explain.
Reference SPECIFIC HISTORICAL EVENTS, noting time and place (***You must include , such as when you write historical essays.
