Why was the Middle East ripe for the development of terrorist groups? Why did it all come together there and result in such violence? Are all Middle Eastern countries involved? If not, why not? Are terrorists the majority or minority in these countries?
Hint: Look into political, cultural, economic, religious, and historical events for the answers.
