Imagine that you are the head of a Chinese family. What advice do you give to your son about how to find the œWay? You may want to use Confucian, Daoist, or Legalist ideas. You may get these examples from the Daodejing, the Craig textbook or the Reader: be sure to cite them specifically by page. Imitate the style of Chinese authors we have read (for instance, Mencius or Han Fei-tzu). Use at least one example from history or myth to support the advice you are giving. (Remember, your son will be impressed by historical precedents.)
