ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES (EAP) ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES (EAP) An essay outlining what you have learned during this module. Include: How you think EAP is different from general English. Which skills you have improved and how you have improved them. Which areas of EAP you still feel you need to work on and how you can do this. Your essay should be between 500 and 700 words long and structured into clear paragraphs. Important Notes: 1. ?Please refer to the Assignment Presentation Requirements for advice on how to set out your assignment. These can be found on the NCC Education Campus. Scroll down the left hand side of the screen until you reach Personal Support. Click on this, and then on Policies and Advice. You will find the Assignment Presentation Requirements under the Advice section. 2. ?You must familiarise yourself with the NCC Education Academic Dishonesty and Plagiarism Policy and ensure that you acknowledge all the sources which you use in your work. The policy is available on Campus. Follow the instructions above, but click on Policies rather than Advice. 3. Check your word count and ensure you have the right number of words for each essay. You need to include the word count (usually in brackets) at the end of each essay. 4. Essay must be word processed, justified and double spaced. Your outline may be word processed .
