look online for the media kits of VOGUE magazine, HARPER’S BAZAAR and W magazine and see what added value programs they offer. Imagine we would like to promote our G store because the sales are not as high as we would like, so we wanted to see if we could partner with a publication to do something to promote the store. An event, a story, a feature, something. Do some research for the added value programs that those publications give.
Added value program is, basically, you buy ad pages in magazines and they give you ‘added value programs’ (support, money to partner for an event, etc) with your ad buy. You can do research on the websites – look at their media kits and many times they will say, or go on Vogue.com for example and see who they have partnered with/what they have done.
