Artworks were generated across an empire’s lands, and served to define, support and sometimes criticize its domain.
In your response, discuss how specific works of art supported and defined the empire. Compare and contrast specific art examples from two different civilizations we are studying this week (Ancient Egypt, Aegean, Ancient Greece).
