Power and the Project manager

Lovell (1993) provides a model of how power affects project management. The key determinant is the manner in which a project is configured and, in particular, the degree to which it is in-house or externalised. Critically evaluate and compare the power paradigm for the project manager employed by a developer where all the design and construction is handled in-house with that of a project manager working for an external client.
