Do you feel that the references to God in the Pledge of Allegiance, on U.S. currency, in the courts, and in many official documents is merely symbolic or is it related to the nation’s Judeo-Christian roots?

Do you feel that the references to God in the Pledge of Allegiance, on U.S. currency, in the courts, and in many official documents is merely symbolic or is it related to the nation’s Judeo-Christian roots?

* Do you feel that the Pledge of Allegiance has a place in American schools? Should students be encouraged (compelled) to recite it every morning?

* In terms of religion, do you feel that ‘majority rules’? According to this argument, since 92% of the people in the nation are Christian, and all of its presidents have been, the holy days and feast days of this religion should carry national importance. To what extent is this already true, and do you agree with this? Or, since America is a multicultural society, shouldn’t we extend the celebration of religious holy days to those of other religions?
