Assessment #1 €“ Report €“ minor report (Graded)

Students are required to write a report on one of the following topics: The Effects of Globalisation on The Australian Manufacturing Industry, The Effects of Globalisation on Accounting or The Effects of Globalisation on Financial Markets.

This assessment will enable students to gain an awareness of the impact of globalisation on an important industry sector.
This assignment may be completed individually or in groups of up to 4 students and must be submitted via Gradebook.

Format / Expectations:
This assignment is to be completed in the form of a report. The word limit is not excessive but the amount of material that has been published on the topic of globalisation is very extensive, so while research is required to complete this report, you will need to be selective and plan your approach carefully.
Assistance with formatting reports and referencing is available from the course home page.

This report must be printed in 1½ line or double spacing in Times New Roman 12 font on single sided pages with 3cm left and right margins, and 2.5cm top and bottom margins.

The report is to be 1,500 words in length. The word limit excludes the executive summary and the list of references. All resources used in your report must be dated no earlier than 2006 and no undated resources may be used.

The Harvard system of referencing is to be used. Failure to use or adequately use the Harvard system of referencing will result in a grade of fail being awarded for this assessment.
