implement pr-arrival policy for patient attending accident emergency by ambulance
Actually the idea came from problems that we face in the emergency room with the patient brought by ambulance because some of them has insurance card which is not cover by the hospital, also we need to ease registration process for the patient to the hospital system before they arrive and that will help us to provide the care immediately once they arrive with out waiting for the registration. Another point is that the hospital has very long waiting time which going to effect the care given to the patient. Moreover , by having this policy the team in the ER will be able to prepare all the needed things for the patient and also the Dr.s will know the case before the patient arrive. So this policy going to be for both hospital staff( DR. and nurses ) as well as paramedic staff. From the paramedics side they have to call or communicate the emergency department before bringing the patient and give the needed information to the ER staff. The ER staff has to register the patient and document the communicated information in the pre-arrival form
