The Meaning of Motivation in the Workplace

Present several theories and approaches to motivating employees in the workplace. In addition to those mentioned in the assigned readings on motivation (see class syllabus), be sure to present at least three additional work motivation theories or approaches based on your research. Then, discuss three different performance problems that have occurred at work either in your present job or a previous job, and how the application of these theories and/or concepts could successfully address or prevent the problems. Performance problems can be those experienced by yourself, coworkers, bosses, or people you have supervised.
