Essay #3 – Tying It All Together
This is part three of a three-part assignment. Now that you’ve identified a contemporary topic and several theories or schools of thought that you feel could best explain the contemporary issue, please do the following:
Explain how each of the schools/theorists you selected would approach your topic (i.e., how would they explain the nature of the issue and what would be the possible solution for the issue from each theoretical standpoint? This portion is also based on comparing and contrasting the frameworks along the application of your issue)
Provide a conclusion to your discussion (i.e., what did you find out? Which one of your choices provides the best explanation for your issue? Why? What do the other two lack? If neither provides a good explanation, is it possible to integrate some theories to get a solid answer to your issue? Elaborate on this.)
Make sure that you provide a strong introduction and conclusion to your paper that links these theoretical choices to your contemporary issue.
You may wish to incorporate changes to this final essay based on feedback you receive on Essay 1 and Essay 2.
My first paper was contemporary Theory sexual abuse on college campus, second paper was theories of interest sexual abuse on college campus. I need to keep the same topic, I will also upload the first two papers.
Brief generic introduction to the topic
Solid application of each theory to the contemporary issue tying in relevant material from Essay 1 and Essay 2
Conclusion adequately discusses which theory is best (in your view) and what the other theories lack.
Critical thinking and integration of material, synthesis of previous essays, and unique viewpoints are demonstrated.
APA is correct – references are in place, direct quotes are used when appropriate, in-text citations are used, and a reference list is provided.
The essay has a strong conclusion summarizing the main points of the paper.
