Guided Journaling, Part Three:

 

(1) Helicopter: helicopter yourself above your current situation and watch yourself from above.

 

    What are you doing?

 

    What is it in the current stage of your professional &       personal   journey that you are trying to do?

 

(2)  Imagine you could fast forward to the very last moment of your life, when it is time for you to pass on. Now look back on your life’s journey as a whole:

 

    What would you want to see in that moment?

 

    What would you want to be remembered for by the people who     live on after you?

 

(3) Vision & Intention: Let’s now return to your current situation.

 

    What vision & intention do you have for yourself & your work?

 

    What are some essential core elements of the future that you    want to create with your work & life?

 

    Describe the images & elements that come up for you when   holding this question.

 

(4) Letting go:

 

    What would you have to let go of in order to bring your vision      into reality?

 

    What is the old stuff that must die?

 

    What is the old skin that your need to shed?

 

Guided journal should be 2-3 pages, double spaced, include reference citations with proper APA, and include a cover page.  Since the journal is reflective in nature, the use of first person is acceptable, however, this should still be formal scholarly writing.

 

The journal needs to include leadership
