Visit the website http://www.understandingprejudice.org/ and go the reading room. Go to Exercises and Demonstrations:     

A.  Take the baseline survey and print your results.

B.Read The Psychology of Prejudice: An Overview and Ten Myths About Affirmative Action both by Plous.

C. Explain how three concepts in The Psychology of Prejudice: An Overview relate to the criminal justice system using 4 or more sources (texts and other sources).  One criminal justice example for each concept (Stereotype,Prejudiceand Discrimination). Define each term according to the Plous article. And it should be cited in your paper as Plous.

D.Review your answers in the baseline survey. Look up the correct answers.Make sure you check all answers using outside sources and the two assigned readings from the website. Your paper should have two Plous articles referencedboth in the text of the paper and on your reference page. Your grade will also be based on how well you checked your initial answers. Did your thinking change?  Use three facts from each article that contradicted your answers in the survey.  Worth 10% of your final grade and due on Mon Sept 14.  Paper should be 4-6 pages in length, not including cover and reference pages and it should also includea copy of your baseline survey results.  Must be APA style. Each paper is graded as follows: Format 10%, Spelling/grammar 10%, Organization 10%, Content 70
