Are there any disanvantage to pouring it very slowly?

In casting metal alloys, what wound you expect to occur if the metal were agitated aggressively after the molten metal had been in the mold for a sufficient amount of time to form a skin?

 

Cross sectional area as the round casting. Both pieces are cast under same condation.What is the dirrerent in the solidification times of the two castings?
