Find an article related to your interest, think about how the information in the article will be of use to you once you are working, apply it to the current business environment, and determine the link between marketing theory in the text and the subject of the article. Using the “Writing Across the Disciplines Rubric” document as a guide (see course outline or Blackboard, Course Information, write a 2 1/2 – 3 page paper in response to the following questions:
1. What is the main theme/topic of the article and why is it important to managers?
2. How might you implement what you’ve learned from this article once you are working in the “real world?” Would this even work in the real world?
3. Do you agree with everything in this article? If so, why? If not, what would you change?
4. How does the subject matter in this article tie in with one or more of the topics that are discussed in the class textbook?
Each paper must be no less than 2 1/2 fully-developed pages and no more than 3. Use 12 pt. font, 1” margins, double-spacing in the paper. Do not use more than 2 spaces between paragraphs.
