Legislators are very busy individuals and do not have extra time to sort through pages and pages of documents. However, you feel that is it important to meet with your legislator to get his or her support on your policy so it can be presented for approval.

Using your Week One assignment, prepare a one page document to hand to a legislator about the pros of your selected policy. Use support so your legislator will understand why they should support the potential policy. They have little time and need just a brief, but concise overview of what the policy entails and why they should support the passage of it.
