Full Faith and Credit: Driver’s Licenses and (Gay?) Marriages (Article 4, Section 1) Prepare an annotated bibliography covering how your particular provision(s) of the Constitution has been used since its passage, especially from the 20th century on. What actions by administrative agencies and what interpretations by the courts have expanded or limited the reach of your assigned constitutional provision? This review should have no fewer than ten entries, drawn from articles in refereed academic journals, focused primarily on the impact of your constitutional provision in shaping administrative action”with an emphasis on most recent impacts. Each entry should be briefly summarized (200-250 words) in a way that makes clear to the reader what the article addressed. The early assignment of topics is designed to allow students to work on this annotated bibliography throughout the term.
