The University is planning to build a 100Million Postgraduate Student Accommodation and Outreach Center Project in Malaysia campus. The project will provide state-of-the-art accommodation facilities for 2100 postgraduate students, as well as an teaching activities and continuous professional development course..

You are required to write a report to advice of Principal of the University:
• The general principle of law governing construction contracts.
• Design and NEC3 ECC contract selecting appropriate Main Options , Secondary Options and appropriate Z clauses to achieve this goal.Explain how your selection will provide appropriate contract features.
• The conditions guiding payment in NEC3 ECC conditions of contract.
• The contractual standing in terms of conditions governing contractual programme
• Explain dispute resolution methods in NEC3 ECC contract that can used for the project and explain the rationale for your choice.
You are required to have a separate analysis section where you compare the advice given based on NEC ECC condition of contract (c-e) with a chosen condition of contract either JCT05 SBC/Q or the FIDIC Red Book form of contract.
