Women of today are required to work outside of their homes as well as being a mother and tending to their homes. Men are not the only ones who keep this country and world running, we see women in positions of power every day. Yet women are not earning as much as men in the workplace. I chose this topic because I felt that as we have progressed as women we still face discrimination at work. Women face more discrimination in the workplace incomparably to men, limiting advancement in their careers and disadvantages in pay.

- Women have to work 60 extra days more to earn what men did the year prior
