THE DESIGN CONCEPTS
The target audience is people aged between 16 to 60 who wants to study.
The website is user friendly and the Internet skill level required to access the website is basic to advanced, it will consider all level of people with all with different skills of computer and internet.
User requirements are following:
-ability to view and read from the computer (or mobile screen) and use the mouse and keyboard
-ability to open a browser and enter the website address or use Google search
For users with visual problems the website is able to adjust font size (e.g., small, medium, large) to help users with impaired vision, which visual problems may include someone who does not always wear his or her glasses.
Home page will contain main subsections of the website, access buttons, contact us information, useful links, a student’s graduation picture and a search site tool.
Courses page will include an overview of the course and promote the course and the content text to be supplied.
There will be a clear Apply Now link button which customers can use to apply for the course.
Online Application contains the application form separately where user can select the desired course. When user will click on submit button, I will get all the information they have filled on college email.
Student Finance page will contain information about funding opportunities and a web link that let the students can apply for student finance and explain how it works.
Calendar page is a online calendar where students can see highlighted dates for the upcoming college events etc.
Gallery page will contain pictures from the campus, computer labs, library, lecture and conference rooms.
E-learning page is an interactive page where student can upload files, access college documents and leave comments.
Support page will include frequently asked questions (FAQ), like how to apply for student finance, how a student can apply to college, instructions, steps, complains etc.
About Us page will contain a short description and history of the college as well as the benefits of studying at Zodiac College of Business and Computing.
