POWER, AUTHORITY, AND INFLUENCE
Project description
Module 2 – SLP
POWER, AUTHORITY, AND INFLUENCE
This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for! It’s time to find out how you score in relation to gaining power and influence at work!!!
SLP Assignment Expectations (Content)
Please complete the following questionnaire – don’t worry, no one will know who you are! – and then total the score. This is just for you, for your own information. You don’t even need to tell me what your score is! Of course you can if you want to, but you don’t have to. Go to: http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/faculty/uzzi/ftp/page292.html
Then write a 2- to 3-page essay in which you explain how you gain power and influence in your own workplace. In order to do so, please make sure to apply theories, such as the French and Raven model.
Be sure to refer to relevant articles that you read in the background materials.
SLP Assignment Expectations (Structure)
Make sure that you use your own language (rather than copying sentences from the article).
Your paper will be graded based on the following criteria: Precision, Clarity, Breadth, Depth, Grammar/Vocabulary, Referencing, and Application.
Use 12-point type size (Times New Roman), double-spacing, and one-inch margins. Add a cover page and a references list.
Cite your sources: APA Style – Trident requires all PhD work to be in APA form. We also encourage all other students to comply with guidelines for proper citation of references.
