Summary: it will demonstrate an understanding of the entire semester’s tutorials, lectures, allocated readings and additional research. Students will be required to choose a business case from three that are provided. Drawing on the entire semester, you will be asked to respond to the questions outlined for the case.

Directions: Submit a 4-5 page paper responding to this question using APA format, and a minimum of 3 references properly cited.
As a nursing manager on your unit, you would like to focus on improvement by utilizing the FOCUS Methodology.
•Explain what the FOCUS Methodology is and
•How it can be utilized to redesign patient care effectively
Using the information gleaned from your readings and the interview:
•Identify the driving and restraining forces in the change process
•What is the attitude of the nurse manager relative to the change. Substantiate your observations based on research
•Review Role and Characteristics of the Change Agent (pp 282); and discuss how many of these functions are demonstrated by the nurse manager
