Leadership Power and Influence
Lord Acton, a British historian of the late 19th century, said that “power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely,” suggesting that a person’s sense of morality lessens as his or her power increases.
Do you agree? Considering this idea, is it ethical for leaders to try to increase their power? In your discussion, include two examples form real life, personal or professional, and how they tie into the concept of absolute power/control.
In a two- to three- page paper (excluding title and reference pages) respond to all the components. Your paper must include at least two APA citations from current scholarly sources to support your discussion.
